Commitment to the safety and well-being of young people is central to everything we do in our children's program. Albuquerque Monthly Meeting's “Children's Care and Safety” manual describes the practices we have embraced to create a safer environment, including:
- Attendance and registration procedures
- Background checks and training for program volunteers
- Illness and emergency response
- Safe handling of tools and materials
- Child abuse prevention and response
