From parents' conversations
Beginning in 2026, Albuquerque Monthly Meeting started informal Family Ed gatherings in the homes of families in our community. We share a potluck meal and participate in a short program inspired by the experiences children have in First Day School on Sunday mornings.
These gatherings grew out of conversations with parents who realized their children were learning about Quaker faith, practice, and culture in ways they hadn't had the opportunity to explore themselves. Family Ed offers a chance for children and adults to wonder, learn, and grow together.
